Privacy policy of XT-Talk

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application XT-Talk for mobile devices that was created by Adler Technologies. The application provides individuals and businesses with a messaging service as well as other professional services such as employee time management and purchasing / sales management. XT-Talk is primarily a complement of Adler's ERP system (called XT-ERP), although it can be used separately as a stand-alone messaging service.

What information does XT-Talk obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

Registration with us is mandatory in order to be able to use the basic features of the Application. If you are an employee in company that uses XT-ERP, then you are already registered to use XT-Talk. Your credentials and personal information are provided by your company (via the use of XT-ERP).

When you register with us and use XT-Talk, you provide your first name, last name and a password. A unique ID, called XTalk ID, will be generated for you. It will be your username.

We DON'T require any contact information from you (email, telephone number, ...). We will not contact you directly for any purpose.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, XT-Talk collects these information automatically: the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, and information about the way you use XT-Talk.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

XT-Talk may collect precise real time location information according to the following rules, ONLY IF you are a user of XT-ERP. In any case, we DO NOT share your current location with other users or partners.

• Use and interest: the geolocation module is aimed at companies wishing to follow the movement / tracking of the journey in the field or the location of its employees affected by the mobility. Example maintenance technicians, salespeople, deliverers, etc. These are functionalities linked to the modules of our ERP (XT-ERP), such as, management of curative and preventive interventions, Helpdesk, route optimization, creation of incidents on the fly, ...
  • Travel/route tracking: Allows the optimization of routes, giving the company the possibility of diverting a technician in an emergency to help a customer, monitoring the movement of a salesperson to communicate prospects to visit, ...
  • Localisation: Allows to know where an employee is at time T, to plan interventions on the fly near his location.
• CNIL: the geolocation module is in full compliance with the recommendations of the CNIL (National Commission for Computing and Liberties). the CNIL imposes as conditions:
  • That the triggering of geolocation is at the initiative of the employee, in any case the application can trigger a geolocation session without his knowledge,
  • As long as geolocation is active, the employee must have a visual cue which indicates to him, without any ambiguity, that he is in the process of geolocation (XT-Talk, in its top and permanent menu displays a red / flashing icon as long as geolocation is active)
  • That the employee has the possibility of deactivating the geolocation module in a rapid manner. (a single click on the red / flashing icon brings you back to the deactivation button)
• Accurate GPS location from mobile devices is only collected with your permission, and by explicitly activating the one-time or permanent geolocation option. Your WIFI and IP addresses from your browser or device can be used to determine your approximate location. This only applies if you have explicitly activated the point-in-time or permanent geolocation option.

How do you use the information?

The use of data is in compliance with the GDPR.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by XT-Talk?

No third party can access the information we collect from you. Again, we totally comply to GDPR.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can opt-out easily by uninstalling XT-Talk. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use XT-Talk and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 12 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via XT-Talk, please contact us at hotline@xtime.fr and we will respond in a reasonable time.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve XT-Talk.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via the application. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using XT-Talk, you are consenting to this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
